This Week’s Theme:
We will continue to learn some new Nursery Rhymes. We will be learning how to identify rhyming words which is part of our Phonological awareness standards for Reading. Are other theme this week will be learning to work together and participating in partner activities.
Math

Writing and Handwriting
Writing: Journals (first stage of writing which is drawing pictures to align with prompt given by teacher.
Handwriting: Handwriting Without Tears letters Letters for the week: H, K, L and Name Practice
Reading and Literature
Story: We Are So Proud
Comprehension: Setting
Amazing Words: proud, cooperation, float, preparation, creation, guide

Homework
Thank you to those parents who sent homework back on Friday. We would like you to keep the book that is apart of the homework packet so you can continue to practice reading these books with your child for reading practice. If your child reads these books each night you can document this time as part of your nightly reading.
