BaBar data of the newly discovered charmed-strange meson

7. 2) THE QPC MODEL
The QPC model was proposed by Micu to calculate OZI allowed strong decay of a meson. Latter, it was developed and is successful in calculating the strong decay of hadron.
In the model, the meson decay occurs through a quark-antiquark pair production from the vacuum.
