2. Features of Smartphones
In Pairs: Create a list or a mind map of the features of smartphones.

3. Wired & Wireless technology
Wireless communications can be available all of the time, almost anywhere. They have several advantages over wired communications. These include:
-no wires need to be run through buildings, over ground or underground
- wireless devices can be portable.
An aerial is needed to pick up the signals but these are much smaller in equipment today than in the past. They are not even visible in modern mobile phones and laptop computers.

4. Wireless signals can be reflected off buildings and other large objects. This means that signals may be received even if the receiver is not in direct sight of the transmitter. But it can also cause ‘ghosting’ on television pictures, for example.

Hacking became more popular and it became apparent that legislation would be required so that hackers could be prosecuted.
-Unauthorised Access to computer material
-Unauthorised Access with intent to commit or facilitate a crime
-Unauthorised Modification of Computer Material
-Making, supplying or obtaining material that could be used in computer misuse offences
