4 Graduation Requirements
4 years of English 4 years of Health/Physical Education 3 years of Math (4 recommended for college) 3 years of Lab Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) 3 years of History (US History 1, World History, US History 2) 2 years of World Language (3 recommended for college) 15 credits of Fine or Performing Arts/Practical Arts -5 in Fine or Performing Arts -5 in Practical Arts -Additional 5 in either - Financial Literacy *All additional courses that do not fulfill a graduation requirement are considered electives; even if it is an academic class (ex. senior year math class, junior year world language class)

5 GROUPS We will be running various groups throughout the school year.
Inquire with your child’s counselor if you would like to know more about groups.

6 OFF TO A GOOD START Homework!
Attendance and Loss of Credit Procedures: Prolonged or repeated absences exceeding: 18 Days – Full Year Course 9 Days – Semester Course 5 Days – Quarter Course May result in grade level retention or loss of credit Build relationships with teachers Seek extra help

7 GET INVOLVED Join clubs, athletics, and activities
Eligibility – 2.0 GPA Community Service – Forms located in school counseling department. Must be pre-approved by Grade Level Administrator Mr. Pazinko in the Main Office. Ph. #

8 PSAT / STANDARDIZED TESTING
Sophomore Class tested: October 10, 2018 PSAT scores released online Dec. 10th-12th Scores distributed at EBHS Dec. 2018 Discussed in Sophomore Interview If further discussion is required, counselor will meet with students individually. psat-10/scores/student-score-reports

9 Testing Timeline PSAT/NMSQT (October 2018) National Merit – Jr. Year
PARCC Exam SAT/ACT: Reasoning Test (SAT March, May, June-Jr. Year, ACT Feb., April, June -Jr. Year) SAT Subject Exams (May or June-Jr./Sr. Year) Check the Counseling Website for updates!
