With the Dual-Scan document processor the front and rear side of a document can be scanned at the same time

The document processors of high speed models (DCC 2965/2970 and DC 2465/2480) is equipped with a sonic sensor to prevent double feeding of media.

Improvement of image quality due to permanent developer refreshment

21. Improved toner feeding
High image quality is also achieved for graphics with high density
Image data with high density is also printed with high productivity.
The device continues to print in b/w when colour toner runs out while printing a job (approx. 2,500 pages with CDC 1930/1935 and approx. 4,000 pages with CDC 1945/1950)

22. Improved picture and text quality
The new systems provide an improved text reproduction.
The speed of the transfer belt is permanently monitored in order to prevent colour shifting.

23. Background image prevention
When copying originals with thin paper the image, which might shine through from the rear side of the page, can be erased.
Background colours, for example from a newspaper, can also be deleted in the copying process.

24. Highlight mode
The reproduction of fluorescent colours for example from a text marker can be improved by activating this function.

25. Individual colour hue adjustment
In printing as well as in copying the colour hue can be adjusted without changing complementary colour.
The print driver can be enhanced with the colour optimizer, a tool for selective colour adjustment.

35. Quiet Mode
Choice between „First Copy Priority Mode“ and „Quiet Mode“ is possible
In „Quiet Mode“ the polygon mirror is stopped immediately after copying.
In „First Copy Priority Mode“ the polygon mirror continues to run for 60 seconds with full speed which is then reduced to half speed.

If an error occurs when printing a job this job can automatically be skipped by another incoming job.
