April 11th, 20134 Motors Network Meeting – Lyon Innovation within reach Technological innovation has to be at citizens disposalUnderstand what new technologies bring to our every day life : mobility, use of 3D, miniaturization, robotics, … –High school student robot to help sick children who are unable to attend class. –Via Rhôna : use of mobile technologies and virtual reality to promote tourist attractions alongside the Rhône River –Short range production networks : use of mobile technologies to enhance short range production networks

Our goal is to develop e-skills of the Rhône-Alpes citizens, accompany vulnerable populations, educate to the new medias, … –The Digital Pass, e-skills development plan –Raise public awareness to new digital stakes by putting up a series of events. –Help the development of Public Internet Access Point –Support « Ordinateurs solidaires » : program aimed to recondition out of age computers. Spread out the links of digital solidarity

April 11th, 20134 Motors Network Meeting – Lyon Make access to services easier for everyone anywhere Possibilities granted by access to services on mobile phones are great and are boosted by the open data movement. –Open our own datas by starting a regional open data library –From these datas, favour service creation by local actors (Competition named « La Région agréable »)

April 11th, 20134 Motors Network Meeting – Lyon Accompany SMEs in their digital mutation Digital technologies play a key role in SMEs development –Accompany small companies experiencing digital difficulties –Experiment creation of co-working places –Develop the GIX of Rhône-alpes (Global Internet Exchange Point allowing to fluidify traffic)
