When Should I cite a source
“Although you don't need to use quotation marks when you paraphrase, you absolutely do need to cite the source, either in parentheses or in a footnote. What is an Academic Source?
“Academic sources, also called scholarly sources, are sources which can include books, academic journal articles, and published expert reports. In Text Citation Any time you paraphrase, directly quote, or use another persons idea you must cite In Chicago style we use footnotes and superscripts Always count up throughout the whole paper Each number sticks to a specific citation
