Important Info
If possible, please send a pack of addition flash cards (Facts up to sums of 20) and subtraction cards to school. The kids will keep these in their desks to practice facts when they have free chances. Inexpensive packs can usually be found at the dollar store,Walmart or Target.
What We’re Learning This Week
Reading: We will focus on character traits from the book Too Many Pumpkins.
Writing: We are continuing personal narratives.  Students are planning a story, writing the story in a booklet, completing simple editing and then illustrating their booklets. We are learning about simple ways to start a story, using transitions, and simple ways to end.
Math: We are starting a new unit working with place value to 30.
Social Studies: Traits of a good citizen and good citizens we know.
