Need to Know Question 2 (only write paragraph response)
Read the paragraphs 1 and 2 of "Running Shoes May Cause...". What is it that the scientist are trying to prove about running shoes? How do you know this? Use the RACES method to answer the question, citing specific evidence. You will have 5 minutes to read, and 5 minutes to respond.

Objectives I will be able to describe the tools, skills, knowledge, and dispositions needed to conduct scientific inquiry. Inq. 2 Select tools and procedures needed to conduct a moderately complex experiment. Bellwork Science Tools Lab Exit List

Group Roles TimeKeeper- Responsibility is to keep track of time, and encourage other group members to stay on task. If someone has gotten distracted, redirect them to the group activity. GoalKeeper- Responsibility is to read the instructions out loud to the group at each station. Explain what is to be done at each lab table. Referee- Responsibility is to make sure that everyone in the group is contributing equal amounts and "playing" fair. WingMan- Responsibility is to make sure that everyone in the group is recording the information that needs to be recorded. Everyone is responsible for cleaning up the lab table at the end of the rotation, before moving to the next lab table.

Exit Using the tools from this lab, write an experiment scenario and list the tool(s) you would need to conduct the experiment.
