Weekly Objectives Spelling Words
February 26, Week 9 of Third 9 Weeks Issue #3 Mrs. Castellano's Class Weekly Objectives As part of your 20 minutes reading time, please use istation; storyline online; bookflix: bkflix.Grolier.com-UN: jdrugan. PW: bookflix Monday– Read your fluency folder pages: Week 14 “Bugsicles.” Time for one minute. Answer questions on back. Write spelling words three times each. Math: p.Week 25. Practice HIGH FREQUENCY WORD list. Bring homework to school everyday. Tuesday– Read your fluency folder Pages: Week 14, “Bugsicle.” Time for one minute. Answer questions on back. Write spelling words in ABC order.Week 25. Practice HIGH FREQUENCY WORD list. Work on home project this week. Wednesday- Read your fluency folder Pages: Week 14, “Bugsicle” Time for one minute. Answer questions on back. Write sentences for spelling words Math: p.Week 25. Practice High Frequency Word list. Bring homework to school everyday. Thursday- Read your fluency folder pages: Week 14, “Bugsicle.” Answer questions on back. Write sentences for spelling words Ask your parents to give you a practice spelling test. Practice the ones you missed.. Math p.Week 25. Write a sentence for all your vocabulary words. Read High Frequency words everyday. Bring homework. Friday-Tests on story of the week, spelling words, vocabulary words. I will send the tests on Friday. Please sign and return them. If you don’t get them, please write me a note in the agenda. PLEASE NO ABSENCES ON FRIDAYS OR MONDAYS. WE HAVE TESTING ON FRIDAYS AND MONDAYS WE HAVE NEW MATERIAL TO COVER. PLEASE SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS BEFORE 10am OR AFTER 10am. Language Arts – Fiction & Non fiction, characters, setting, plot, Problem and solution, Parts of a book-glossary, table of contents, past tense endings, declarative and interrogative sentences, prepositions, plural nouns, author’s purpose. Math – Linear Measurement. Science – Observe the Sky and its objects. Social Studies – Scientists and inventors Spelling Words Pattern: oo ou Hook, book, wood, look, good, cool, nook, foot, hood, tool, moo, spoon, shook, took, crook, crooked, could, would, should, mood Story: A Harbor Seal Young: Not old. Examines: To look at very carefully. Mammal: Is a warm-blooded animal that has hair and makes milk to feed its babies. : . Normal: Usual. The way things are all the time.
