Contextualization and Chart Analysis (Write this)
Like synthesis, this is a very difficult skill to master On the 2015 AP Exam, less than 1 out of 3 test-takers received this point on their DBQ Contextualization calls upon students to connect events or sources to broader regional, national, or global processes (within the time period) You must associate events or sources to what else was happening during the time and that might be, in some way, related to the event(s) being evaluated.

Often included as 1 of the 7 documents on the DBQ Using a chart, you must… A) analyze it systematically B) relate it to the broader phenomena within the time frame The 4 Ts & I T1.
