Health of marine environment and fisheries are intricately linked, pressure on marine ecosystem is high, there are also opportunities for cooperation.
Joint Marine, Water and Nature Directors November 2015 (Luxembourg): closer dialogue with agriculture, forestry and fisheries policies (national and EU).
Netherlands offered help to prepare a discussion in one of the upcoming Presidencies.

Respons from 10 Member States, OSPAR, ICES, CCB 5 Memberstates’ respondents talked to their fisheries colleagues/2 are in charge of fisheries themselves
