4 COURSE OUTCOME Student will able to
CO-1-Understand and apply the theory behind wireless sensor networks. And Apply knowledge of wireless sensor networks(WSN) to various application areas. CO-2 -Analyze wireless sensor network fundamentals and provide hands on training in programming Wireless sensor networks at different platform for interfacing hardware with software. CO-3-Explain wireless sensor network fundamentals and provide hands on training in programming Wireless sensor networks at different platform for interfacing hardware with software. CO-4-Explain different name and addressing technique used in WSN and its different management task. CO-5-Describe network level protocols for MAC, routing, time synchronization, aggregation, consequenses and distributed tracking. CO-6-Identify and apply the different detection and tracking approach in application support.

5 SENSOR NODE ARCHITECTURE
Sensor Node consist of following five main hardware component Controller Memory Sensors and actuators Communication device Power supply

6 Schematic diagram SENSOR NODE ARCHITECTURE MEMORY COMMUNICATION DEVICE
CONTROLLER SENSOR /ACTUATORS POWER SUPPLY

7 DEVICES AND EXAMPLES OF FIVE COMPONENT OF SENSOR NODE
1-Controller-Microcontrollers, microprocessors, FPGAs, and ASICs. EXAMPLE-Intel StrongARM,Texas Instruments MSP Memory-RAM,ROM ,EPROM 3-Sensors and actuators- Types of Sensor I}Passive, omnidirectional sensors II] Passive, narrow-beam sensors III] Active sensors Actuators -Actuators are just about as diverse as sensors, yet for the purposes of designing a WSN, they are a bit simpler to take account of: In principle, all that a sensor node can do is to open or close a switch or a relay or to set a value in some way. EXAMPLE- 4-Communication device-Transreciver 5-Power supply-Battery,conventional energy storage,Energy scavenging
