According to the readily searchable literature, we found that the majority of clinical and patient satisfaction outcomes are improved when a community pharmacist intervenes. We also found that studies measuring economic outcomes are harder to conduct due to constraints like time of intervention thus, we cannot confirm that economic outcomes are improved when a community pharmacy intervenes. More quality studies need to be conducted with this outcome in mind.
