Data transmission SBS Which data need to be reported to Eurostat each reference year? In what form should the data be sent? How can the data be sent? What happens with the data at Eurostat?

Series 1X: Services (NACE Rev.2 Sections H to J and L to N and division 95) Series 2X: Industry (NACE Rev.2 Sections B, C, D, and E) Series 3X: Distributive trade (NACE Rev.2 Section G) Series 4X: Construction (NACE Rev.2 Section F) Series 5X: Insurance services (NACE Rev.2 division 65 except for group 65.3)

Series 6X: Credit institutions (All credit institutions within the scope of NACE Rev.2 classes and 64.92) Series 7X: Pension funds (NACE Rev.2 group 65.3) Series 8X: Business services (NACE Rev.2 division 62, groups 58.2, 63.1 and 73.1 and division 78 annual; NACE Rev.2 groups 69.1, 69.2, and 70.2 as well as NACE Rev.2 groups 73.2, 71.1 and 71.2 biennial) Series 9X: Business demography (NACE Rev.2 Sections B to N )

2. Technical format In what form should the data be transmitted? ->Technical format is laid down in a Regulation Why? Least possible errors when importing the data in our Oracle Olap database

2. Technical format Set of records Record = description of characteristics of data (country, year, economic activity,...) + data + explanatory notes All levels of aggregation of breakdowns to be provided Confidential data to be sent with true value + flag (including secondary confidential cells)

2.c) Data value data equal to zero (coded '0'): Real values of zero only (phenomenon is not existing or rounded value of existing phenomenon data not available (coded ‘na’): This is data which is not collected in a Member State. Only in very exceptional cases allowed (derogations 1%-rule).

2.g) Examples Example 1: Confidential data: dominance by one enterprise The number of persons employed (2700) in France in 2008 for enterprises of 50 to 249 persons employed for NACE C1411 is confidential. 2.g) Examples Example 2: Size class data The turnover of the retail sale of foods (NACE Rev.2 G472) in Luxembourg in 2008 with an annual turnover between 1 and 2 million EUR was EUR. It is revised data. Data is not confidential

2.g) Examples Example 4: Business services data Germany declares for the activities of NACE Rev.2 group 62 that EURO of turnover is generated by publishing services of computer games in The data is non confidential.

Comma separated value (csv) format No thousand separators in values 1 file per series: Annex 1 limited to activities of NACE H, I, (J) and K: EDIFLOW codes
