Fill out your assignment notebook for each day of the week. Please copy exactly as it is written.
Notebook Entry: When you sit down to do an assignment are you thinking “I want to do really well on this assignment” OR are you thinking “I want to just get this done!!!” Why do you think you feel this way?

2. We can use rubrics to describe the knowledge and skills we are learning and the progress we make along the way.

3. How am I doing? Last week we started with the level of proficient
On the right had side you described the things that someone would be able to do if they could do the activity on their own.
On the left hand side you did/need to draw a picture of what that level looks like.

4. How am I doing?
Your next step is to fill out the other rows of your rubric starting with No Attempt. This row ONLY needs a picture of what it looks like if someone is not doing your activity at all.
Then work your way up the rubric describe what someone can do at each level. Include a sketch for each one.
Refer to the plane rubric to remind you how the levels are different.

5. How am I doing?
Your chart is complete when all levels are described with I can statements & you have a picture sketched for each level.
Turn it in when you are finished. If you do not finish in class it is homework that is due tomorrow.
When you are done create a name card for the “I am a Scientist” door.
First name only and make it BIG!
Add color or drawings to make is more personalized to you!
