DO NOW What do I mean if I say that a cell membrane is semi-permeable (or selectively permeable)? What are some substances we have discussed that must enter/exit a cell? What might be some differences between the various substances that enter/exit a cell? True/false: all substances that must enter/exit a cell probably use the same method to move across the membrane since cell membranes let anything through

Types of Cell Transport
Research your type/s of transport (15 min) Take good notes and write definitions Use figures and context in the textbook to aid in understanding Meet with classmates and compare your answers on your respective transport (10 min) JIGSAW: meet with your group members that researched DIFFERENT types of transport and create a concept map of cell transport (25 min) How are they different? How are they the same? Are some subcategories of others? Present to the class tomorrow
