1. How to fill out an application for the 2018-2019 school year
Please review this presentation before submitting your application, as this contains information that will help you with the process.

2. Required Documents
Before you begin the application make sure you have the following documents handy as you will need them to complete the application.
Report Card (required for students applying to grades 1st to 12th)
Proof of Residency (required for all students)
Transcripts or Grade History (required for students applying to grades 1st to 12th)
Shot Records (required for students new to the Saint Lucie County Public School District and students applying for Kindergarten)
Birth Certificate (required for students new to the Saint Lucie County Public School District and students applying for Kindergarten)
School Physical (required for students new to the Saint Lucie County Public School District and students applying for Kindergarten)

3. Step One: Create an account

4. Step Two: Create your family profile

5. Step Three: Fill out the required information for the guardian
Step Three: Fill out the required information for the guardian. If you are adding more than one guardian, make sure you select “Add Another Guardian” button.

6. Step Four: Fill out the required information for the student
Step Four: Fill out the required information for the student. If you are applying for 2 or more students, you can add the additional students using the “Add Another Student” button.

7. Step Five: Once you submit the family and student profile, you will be sent to this page. Click the highlighted button to submit an application.

8. Step Six: Fill out the required fields and click next.

9. Step Seven: Make sure you have selected the correct school for your student. Somerset Academy St. Lucie- K to 5 Somerset College Preparatory Academy- 6 to 12

10. Step Eight: Complete the application and all required pages
Step Eight: Complete the application and all required pages. You must fill out ALL required fields before you can move on to the next page. If you need to pause the application, make sure you click “Save Progress.”

11. Step Nine: Once you have completed the application and uploaded the needed documents for your student click “Submit Application.”
You will be sent an message or text message, depending on your preference, letting you know the application has been received. If you are applying for additional student(s) you will have to log back in and select the additional student’s name and repeat the process.

12. Additional Information Lottery will happen if we have more qualified applicants than seats available.
Please note, if you submitted your application between November 1 and March 1, the lottery, if needed, will take place between March 10- March 15. Parents will be notified of their students status days after the lottery.
If you submitted your application after March 1, and we do NOT need to run a lottery, applicants will be notified days after the submission of the application.
If you submitted your application after March 1, and we DO need to run a lottery, the student will be placed on a waitlist. If additional lotteries are needed, the applicants on the waitlist will be notified.
You will also be prompted to upload the documents from slide 2 into the application. Please make sure you are uploading the correct documents.
