Hello Everybody !! I have chosen to do my work about avalanches . I will give you an interesting information and some facts about them. Have fun 

3. So …what is it an avalanche?
An avalanche is a natural disaster that occurs when snow and ice go down a hill or a mountain. The snow and ice go with incredible speeds. But, avalanches can also go slowly. The slowest avalanche was only a couple miles per hour. So a quick walker could stay in front of this avalanche.

4. Avalanche Causes
Have you ever known what the causes of avalanches are ? I can answer this question !!! Causes of avalanches are weather, snowfall, temperature, and wind direction.

5. Be Careful !!
An avalanche could be able to destroy a whole town. The wind created by an avalanche can also be dangerous. The air in front of the avalanche gets pushed in very high speeds. An avalanche in Switzerland in the year of 1962 had wind that could split trees in half! The avalanches can kill people too , because it’s impossible to survive under kilograms of snow.

6. Famous Avalanche
One of the biggest avalanches happen in mount Sanford in !Alaska. Fortunately , no one was hurt.
