“Unalienable” rights- Rights that are permanent. They are natural God given rights that cannot be taken away. Every person gets them just for being born. Preamble of the Constitution- states the purposes of the government and is based on the belief that the people are sovereign (rule). 1st 10 Amendments of the Constitution- also called the Bill of Rights, are included in the Constitution guaranteeing that the rights of all Americans would be protected by the government.
