STAR, PRL93 (2004) PHENIX, nucl-ex/ |ftrig-fRP| jet shape w.r.t. reaction plane geometrical effect of the almond shape This effect itself is a one of v2 sources, which will be an important effect at LHC. This should also lead different v2 between bulk and jet.

inclusive average inclusive v2 (v2thermal + v2jet) v2asso.*v2trig. dNpair/d|Df| jet v2thermal = v2jet all pairs Jet-matter interaction should modify the jet shape depending on the orientation with respect to the ellipse axis. The suppression caused by the interaction gives high pT v2, while the modification would change the low-mid pT v2.
