The Senior Phase Senior Phase covers S4 to S6
All pupils will leave with a portfolio of qualifications at their exit point from school, whether that be at the end of S4, S5 or S6 We aim for all learners to achieve at the highest level they can, and will provide various pathways to enable them to do so

Why return to school for S5/S6?
Post-compulsory education Return as a positive decision I want to achieve more qualifications I want to take up opportunities for wider achievement I want to play a role in the senior school

Molly Aitken S6 NBHS pupil Molly spoke eloquently about how much she had gained in confidence through attending a college course – a two year higher course.

Course Choice Process Every learner has a 1:1 conversation with their guidance teacher in the coming weeks Forms to be sent home to be discussed at home and sent back with signature (please also remember the previous recommended levels of study form)

Timeline of Coursing Previously - Prelim discussions and potential recoursing (S5 pupils) with Heads of House and Guidance have already taken place Now until 22 March - 1:1 discussions with S3/4/5 and guidance
