1 Corinthians 15:12-19 – “Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up,

if so be that the dead rise not
if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.”

Exodus 34:6,7 – “And the Lord God passed before him, the Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin.”

Lamentations 3:22-24 – “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning, great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul, therefore will I hope in Him.”

III. The Resurrection is Our Hope of Salvation

IV. The Resurrection is Our Hope for the Future

For the Christian everything stands or falls on the Resurrection:
₋ The resurrection proves He is the Son of God ₋ The resurrection attests to the truth of Scripture ₋ The resurrection assures us of a future resurrection

For the Christian everything stands or falls on the Resurrection:
₋ The resurrection is proof of future judgment ₋ The resurrection is the basis of our future inheritance
