Variable – one object that is changed during a scientific investigation Control – the objects that are not changed during a scientific investigation (a valid experiment will only have one variable)

Result Information (Data) that is collected at the end of an experiment

Conclusion A statement that tells the outcome of an investigation; the data has been interpreted and studied in relation to the hypothesis (A collection of all information that states whether or not the hypothesis was correct)
