Special qualities and abilities
Marines need to have good fitness and must be able to run three miles in a time limit of 28 minutes. Marines need to have strength to carry 30 pound ammo boxes. They have to go through a 880- yard run and a 300-yard course. Marines have to go through a training to learn marshal arts and self combat training. Marines learn to use all different weapons. Marines learn personal skills such as self-confidence, self-discipline, ethics, and leadership abilities.

Salary ranges for marines
Men and women get paid around $4,560 a month. A marines corps Officer gets paid around $95,566 a year. Marines captain gets around $85,512 a year. Marines corporal gets around $2,335 a month. Marines sergeant gets around $2,944 a month.

What options are available within in the field
There are four organization codes for verities of jobs for marines. There are different jobs that people provide for the marines. For example Musician, Family case worker, Deputy Director, and Instructional systems specialist.

Schools that provide training and education
Saint Lea University has provided the most successful jobs for any marines that retire at a young age. Full Sail University has provided the training for marines. American Military University has provided a free online school for veterans or injured marines. Marine Corps University has provided education and the training for the marines.

Education and training requirements
To become a marine you must have a high school diploma. You must be the age range of 17/29 years of age. Meeting exactly physical, mental, and moral standards. You must take and pass the Armed Services Vocation Aptitude Battery Test(ASVABT). Pass a military processing state medical exam. To enlist, you must be a U.S. citizen or resident. Must be in good physical condition. Marine recruits have to do workouts such as pushups, setups, and 1.5 mile run.

My Reaction My reaction to the marines hasn’t change. When I picked this topic I was prepared for what information I was going to find and some of the things that were listed in my presentation I just got out of my brain. Also I still want to pursue becoming a marine. This is my reaction to the occupation that I chose.
