3. Directions
1. fold paper in half as demonstrated, keep fold to the left as you work.
2. Divide the front of the folder into six spaces
3. Draw your name in block letters down the front of the folder, make block letters that are the same size
4. Add different designs and patterns into each of the six spaces
5. Color in the letters of your name using no more than three colors to create emphasis and unity
6. Color in the patterns with black sharpie in an alternating black and white pattern
7. Erase all pencil lines.

7. Criteria for success Did you….
Get the cardboard and fold it in half with the shiny side in?
Evenly space out your name down the folder from top to bottom?
Make all the letters the same size?
Leave a small, even space between letters?
Divide your folder into 6 sections?
Create a different pattern in each of the 6 sections?
Trace the name from right to left on the cover with the back half of cardboard hanging down off lightbox?
Use excellent craftsmanship (neatness & attention to detail)?
