Collaborative Research in Action (CRiA) is a two-semester, intergenerational, and multi-institutional ethnic studies and social justice project. CRiA engages with historically underrepresented populations in academia – students of color, first-generation college students, and students of lower socioeconomic status - to examine the lived experiences of our communities, share findings, and propose and enact alternatives to today’s critical issues. CRiA seeks to blur institutional boundaries and promote organizational collaboration through participatory action research at the local level.
