Tables tables are used to collect data in columns and rows
tables usually have borders and cell spacing tables are “elastic;” they shrink and expand with the size of their contents and the width of the browser page “invisible” tables (without borders) may be used to organize space on the page

Tables: Cells are composed of cells organized in columns (down) and rows (across) usually have borders, cellpadding (spacing within the cell), and cellspacing (room between cells) usually are elastic--they grow and shrink with the content of the cell cells can have colors and even backgrounds

Frames frames divide the browser window into a series of panes (called a “frameset”) these panes (“frames”) are individual pages displayed in the window simultaneously frames are used to create interface elements such as menus and indices frames inform the reader about the scope of a Web site

Individual Frames framed pages have borders and can have scroll bars
frames are usually resized when the browser page is resized (but this is optional) you may target links (and their pages) to specific frames
