A teacher gave the following test to his/her pupils:
Task one: transform these sentences into the passive: 4 sentences Task two: complete the sentences and put the verbs in the right form: Task three: report the following sentences in the reported speech: Task four: rewrite the sentences using the comparatives or the superlatives: 4sentences

General observation: The test was written on the board.
The calligraphy was very small. Why did some pupils claim about the unclearness of task two? Why was 40% of the pupils unable to achieve the fourth task?

Step one: Correct the papers twice if you can Step two: Make a stock of common mistakes and classify them Step three: Plan a remedial work (oral and written) step four: Make a test report paper Step five: give the pupils the papers immediately/pupils compare and make a first judgement.

Step six: deal with remedial work. The amount of tasks depends on the amount of common mistakes you noticed. Step seven: pupils take a rough paper and make first attempt to correct the test Step eight: collective correction on the board Step nine: second attempt on the part of the pupils.
