To come together as a church with one accord with the anticipation and expectation to see the glory of Jesus in our services. We are looking for Jesus to show up.

5. Biblical Patterns That Produce Success
True repentance is required.
True sacrifice is required. You have to show Jesus that you want Him.
True praise and worship is required.

7. Jude 1: But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, What Does it mean to pray in the Holy Ghost?

8. “We are responsible for building up ourselves by praying in the Holy Ghost. I am going to say here and now, that I believe that praying in the Holy Ghost, praying in the Spirit, and praying in tongues are all the same.”   1 Corinthians 14: For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. 15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

9. There is the initial evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:4)
There is the spiritual gift of divers kinds of tongues. It only operates as the Holy Ghost wills it. ( I Cor. 12:10,11)
There is the tongues that is your prayer language. ( 1. Cor. 14:14,15)

10. Can Everyone Pray In the Spirit?

11. “I know this will go against all apostolic traditions; especially, those who feel that the Spirit must move
upon you in a mighty way before you can begin to speak with tongues. It is to be regretted that we
have not seen ourselves as a spiritual persons who are able to move in the flow of the Spirit of God
at all times. You see, the Spirit will cut the way.”
“At this point you may ask, “Do you mean to go right
into a prayer meeting and start talking in tongues?”
Yes, that is exactly what I mean! Why shouldn’t we?
It is the Spirit that gives it the utterance.”

12. “ ‘Can you speak in tongues at will?’
My answer is, ‘yes, I’ve been practicing it for years.’ I personally believe that it will serve a child of God well to daily practice speaking in tongues.”

“Everybody is not accustom to speaking in tongues at will. Allow me to say freely, there is no need to despair; God is a right now God. If you decide to know more about God, and take him at his word, he will reward your decision with fellowship. He will meet you at that spot and bless your soul.”

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
“Praying in tongues gets us past the local prayer ministry and into the world wide prayer ministry.”

16. 1 Corinthians 14:2,4 - 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. … 4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
“This is your way of letting God light your candle. This is your way of raising the floodgates so your rivers can flow. This is your way of entering into a spiritual intermingling of God’s spirit with yours.”

17. 1 Corinthians 2:12,  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. … 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
“Your freedom in talking in tongues makes you keen when it comes to making contact with the Lord. Flowing in the Spirit of God gives you access to revelation in the Spirit. Let me stress again, we spent too much time drawing from the natural realm of life. At the same time, we are neglecting some valuable spiritual insight.”

18. Isaiah 28:11,12 - 11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
It brings refreshing and rest. “The more we release God’s Spirit in our spirit, the more our spirit is brought under subjection to his spirit. Speaking in tongue’s is one way of edifying yourself”

“Satan will attempt to imitate anything he sees working in the kingdom of God nevertheless because a counterfeiter is in town is not a reason for us to abandon what was given to us by God. There are money counterfeiters, but we haven’t stopped from using money. Don’t let the tongue counterfeiters stop you from talking in tongues.”
