5 Response: thesis Write a brief essay discussing the following:
Is Wollstonecraft’s argument about the education and role of women in society still valid today? Have we achieved complete social equality in regards to gender? (your answer to these questions will be your thesis)

6 Response: main points For your main points, consider addressing the following: In what ways have gender roles changed? In what ways have gender roles stayed the same? Hint: think about expectations for women and men, just as Wollstonecraft did.

7 Response: main points Think big picture issues, not details. Examples:
roles within family self-expression career options stereotypes (positive and negative) moral expectations

8 Response: evidence Select appropriate quotes from the text. Then explain and comment on them. Bring in what you know about the historical context. Supply evidence from your own life or the larger world around you.
