Figure 1 In patients with a platelet count ≤20 × 103 /μL within 24 hours before the procedure, the association between outcomes and the transfusion of platelets, measured by the first platelet count within 24 hours after endoscopy. A decrease in the risk of death within 1 month and bleeding within 1 week was observed between patients with platelet count ≤50 × 103/μL and those with platelet > 50 × 103 /μL after the procedure.
