3 Update ALEO members survey 2017
ALEO has opened its first members survey - available at the following link: The survey can be submitted by all ALEO members and associate members, in the public, private or third sectors with a remit for domestic energy efficiency, fuel poverty, climate change, or other related fields. By 31st March 2017 Energy Company Obligation - 1st April 2017 – 1st October 2018 18 month scheme from 1st April 2017 – 1st October 2018. £960m budget for the 18 month period. 70% Affordable Warmth. 30% CERO with a small rural component 15% of overall CERO target. No CSCO, Social Housing in EPC Bands E, F and G added Up to 10% of the Affordable Warmth target can be delivered through Local Authority declarations that a household is fuel poor although not necessarily in the AW qualifying group.

5 HOME ENERGY CONSERVATION ACT 1995
Authorities are required to publish these reports every two years, with the next reports due in March 2017 (thereafter by 31 March 2019 up to 31 March 2027). What information does the Act require from Authorities? the Secretary of State for BEIS requires Authorities to report on • Local energy efficiency ambitions and priorities • Measures that take advantage of financial assistance and other benefits offered from central Government initiatives, to help result in significant energy efficiency improvements of residential accommodation.

6 HOME ENERGY CONSERVATION ACT 1995
• Measures which the authority has developed to implement energy efficiency improvements cost-effectively in residential accommodation by using area based/street by street roll out involving local communities and partnerships (e.g. social housing partners, voluntary organisations and town/parish councils). • A timeframe for delivery and national and local partners
