Language Arts and Reading- This week our spelling words will be related to Johnny Appleseed. There are only ten words and I am giving you the bonus word to study. We will be working on Johnny Appleseed themed ELA and Reading this week. Comprehension, nouns and verbs, and spelling practice.
Math- We will finish working on Unit 3. This unit will work on recognizing, reading, and writing numbers from 1-1,200.

Social Studies- Johnny Appleseed
Health- Stranger Danger
PLEASE SEND A RED, GREEN, OR YELLOW APPLE TO SCHOOL ON OR BEFORE TUESDAY. We will be using the apples to graph and dissect. Then the students will eat and enjoy them! 
On September 29th, we will be having an apple tasting right after our play. On that Friday, you are more than welcome to send premade or homemade apple themed treats. I will be making homemade apple sauce with the students, but anything other than that is welcome! 
On October 4th we will travel to Athens to watch a play at the Trinity Valley Community College campus. There are only enough seats for students and teachers. If you would like to meet us after to eat that would be fine. Your child will need a sack lunch and two drinks.
