3. Name Cards Color Coded Check to see if the name is correct
If your card has a red dot; see Mr. Chavez at table in hallway
Be sure to return your card to a CTC staff member today

4. Dress for Ceremony Cap and gown; tassel to the right
You will be prompted by the stage party when to move your tassel
Accessories are limited to CTC issued cords/pins
Mortarboards can be decorated
Honor Society items are rec’d from your society mentor

5. Arrival to Expo Center Arrive no later than 4:30 PM on Friday
Students will enter the Assembly Hall
CTC staff will be on hand to direct you to the name card table and answer any questions you may have

Your name will be announced when you are on stage (top of stairs)
You will proceed to the middle of the stage to the presenter – PAUSE for photo
Continue across the stage and exit the stairs on the opposite side
You will be directed to the photography station

Graduates will be located here to line up by Last Name to prepare for processional.

15. Assembly Hall & Line Up
Around 5:30 pm, you will be called to begin to line up by program designation
Please pay attention to CTC staff who will be directing you
Your name cards have a number directly underneath your name
We will leave the assembly hall to walk to the arena floor by 6:15 pm
You will be given row marker cards if you fall as the first or last seat in a row

17. Arena Floor You will be prompted when to go down the stairs
Once on the arena floor, turn right and you will be met by a CTC staff member to lead you in the processional

19. Diploma Line Up Please follow CTC staff when prompted
All graduates will stand while the degrees are conferred (prompted by MC)
Once done and the graduates are called forward only the first row will remain standing; all other rows should be seated
You will be prompted when to rise as a row and go to the diploma line

Graduates will enter the stage from the right and exit on the left.
The graduates will receive their diploma center stage.
After receiving their diploma they will proceed to the left pausing to shake hands with the 2-3 stage party members standing to the left of the Chancellor.

After the ceremony, graduates are released on the floor to meet with family and friends (there is no recessional)
