demonstrate how ONE person’s decision to stand for something and speak out against it can have a resounding impact and a huge ripple effect.
This project will also be the springboard to the Social Justice 12 Action Project

images, quotes, and information
focus on the ways (methods) one can make one’s voice heard
characteristics of a “world- changer” – How can we develop these characteristics in ourselves?

Watch “The Making of Malala”
Watch “Think Different”

5. Some Key Components What makes a display excellent?
Research – how to go beyond the “basics” and find multiple sources
Christian perspective – power of the tongue, how has God created us to stand for justice
Historical social injustices and how people have addressed them as individuals

6. Big Ideas Project Goals: Students will explore how:
One person’s actions / words can have a huge impact on the world
Regular individuals have taken a stand against injustice
God cares about injustice and calls each one of us to stand up for what is right (Justice-Seeker)
Internet research is more valuable when different perspectives are taken into consideration
