4 Axes of Rotation An axis is a straight line around which an object rotates. The movement at a joint takes place in a plane about an axis. There are three axis of rotation Frontal Axis Transverse Axis Longitudinal Axis

5 Axes of Rotation Frontal axis – front to back.

6 Transverse axis – side to side

7 Longitudinal axis – top to bottom
