2. An action verb is something you can do.

4. If the action is being done by one person, the verb will need to end with the letter s.

6. If the action is being done by more than one person, the verb will not need the letter s added.

8. Verbs can tell what the action is was in the past or what the action will be in the future.

9. Add –ed to the end of base words to make verbs that tell about the past. Yesterday I jumped rope. jump + ed = jumped

10. To make a verb tell about the future, use the word “will” in front of it. Tomorrow I will jump rope again!

11. Toad jumped. Toad will jump.
