Figure 1 Technetium-99m diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (Tc-99m DTPA) single-photon emission computed tomography/computed tomography (SPECT/CT) peritoneoscintigraphy. The fused transaxial, sagittal, and coronal images were acquired on a hybrid SPECT/CT machine with a dual-headed gamma camera (DST-XLi; GE Medical Systems, Buc, France). At 8h after instillation of Tc-99m DTPA into the peritoneal cavity, SPECT/CT scanning indicated that radiotracer had passed from the peritoneal cavity, through the right inguinal canal (arrowheads), and into the right scrotum (arrows).
