Objectives Essays The essay should be at least FIVE full pages based on 12 point type and 1” margins. Essays that are not at least the required length will suffer SERIOUS grade degradation. In your essay, you must identify one of the four first objectives and demonstrate how you achieved it during the course, perhaps but not necessarily through your individual reflective essays. To do so, you may use excerpts from your individual reflective essays, as appropriate.

Class Presentations Every student individually will make a class presentation describing to the class which objective they feel they most effectively achieved in the class. I will be expecting each individual presentation to last approximately minutes with discussion. Using power points are not necessary, but may be a good idea. If desired, but you may be creative, as appropriate.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
CLASS OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to: Explain what is meant by worldview analysis and apply this analysis in describing and understanding the major religious worldviews represented in this class. Explain the importance and possibility of achieving a broader understanding of religious diversity in a pluralistic society. Describe the various dimensions of religious experience, including the experiential, mythic, ritual, doctrinal, ethical, and social dimensions. Identify and explain the primary concepts, values, beliefs of the major world religions studied in this class. Research a specific religious expression in a thorough and objective manner. Demonstrate the ability to express orally a clear understanding of an aspect of a particular religious worldview.
