Romans continue to influence our art to primarily two ways: life-like statues and mosaics.
Romans excelled in life-like statues (some showed emotion)
Mosaics are patterns or pictures made from small pieces of colored glass or stone.

10. Create a Mosaic Use construction paper as your background.
Draw an object.
The object MUST be a symbol of a Roman legacy.
Examples are:
Christianity (cross)
Architecture (buildings with columns, arches, or domes)
Language
Roads
Alphabet (Latin)
Government
