Celebration of ;the new year starts with drinking champagne or kinder champagne at midnight .
People usually come out in front of the house and celebrate together with neighbors and release fireworks.

“Ash wednesday, Maundy thursday, Good friday, White saturday, Easter sunday, Easter Monday“
“Ash wednesday“- it is christian tradition that the priest wiped believers with ash.
“Maundy thursday“- fasting all day.
“Good friday“- fasting all day. people don t work
“White saturday“- people believe that this is good day. Woman are cooking pork all the day and man are rolling cake over the field.
“Easter sunday“- people have common dinner
“Easter monday“- boys pour water on girls and then they whip girls because we want them to look nice.

In Slovakia people build the may from immemorial. They believe, that it can helps to prevent calamity

8. All saints
At All Saints we walk on the graves to ligth candles. We hope that this day we could clean sins of dead people.

9. Christmas
We are fasting all day. In the evening we have dinner, we say the prayer cut an apple eat a wafer give money under table, after dinner we go to christmas tree and unpack the gifts.
