NCACH dispersed $97,930 in Rapid Cycle Opioid Project awards for projects occurring July – December 2018
Pathways Community HUB will be launching as early as October 1, 2018 in Moses Lake
Target population: Medicaid enrolled/eligible with 3+ ED visits (living in zip code )
Working with the North Central Emergency Care Council, the Transitional Care and Diversion Interventions Workgroup is currently developing a Community Paramedicine model – diverting people with non-acute or non-emergency concerns away from the ED as appropriate
Stakeholder Survey is out and live
Over 100 responses to date from all 4 counties

5. Community-Based Solution Finding
“Part of the programming at The Center for Alcohol and
Drug Treatment is to get a job and/or volunteer to give
back to the community, find some purpose in their day,
and be able to get back on their feet. The barrier that
is happening is that these individuals are unemployed,
don’t have the funds for bus tokens, and are not
getting jobs because they are showing up for
interviews after walking in the heat/cold. Are there
any resources for these individuals that are trying to
become active members of the community?”
