Schematic Showing Mean ± SD of Lesions Seen in High-Flow vs. Low-Flow Ablation Low-flow lesions had a maximal lesion diameter at or 0.04 mm below the endocardial surface, with a smaller epicardial diameter compared with high-flow lesions, which had a maximal lesion diameter 1.5 mm below the endocardial surface with a larger epicardial diameter. Low-flow lesions, compared with high-flow lesions, had a similar lesion volume and similar absolute lesion depth when corrected for tissue thickness. Note that the posterior RA was thinner in swine randomized to low-flow lesions (see also Table 3); the representative pathology is shown in Online Figure 3.
