"Maintain Batch-wise Details" option is for maintaining batch information pertaining to Stock Items like, medicine, food, perishables, etc.
Batch details are used to identify the movement of the inventory in batches or lots and also used to monitor the date of manufacture, date of receipt or the expiry date.
