2b) Lincoln's point of view makes this document a reliable source because he is the President of the United States and we learned in class that all he cared about was saving the Union, he didn’t really care about slavery. 2b) This source is not reliable because the author is a Southern Plantation owner and they needed slaves to work on the plantation. He is biased and would never say that they should outlaw slavery.
