Spring Schedule Goals Increase strength and athleticism.
Players learn how to find fatigue, improvement does not occur before fatigue. Find the wall and break through it. Decrease number of turnovers by improving ball handling (Accurate passing with both hands, able to handle pressure) Improved Shooting (Game speed, quicker release, make shot when tired)

Teams and Numbers: A Tough Reality
We have 40 Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomore were in the program last year. We have a very talented group of freshmen coming in next year. Basketball is a cut sport. Making a team at Windsor High is tough, playing time is tougher. Varsity Team: 7-8 player rotate in a normal competitive game. Junior Varsity: 8-9 players. We are looking for around players to be on the JV/Varsity rosters. We will have 27 juniors and seniors next year. We might have more players come out (i.e. Tapia) Sophomore Team: 10 players Freshmen Team: 12 players Total Players in the Program in =40 Players

What does all this mean? To be a point guard on the varsity roster we have to evaluate you as either the first or second best point guard in the program. To be a wing on the varsity roster we have to evaluate you as either the first, second, or third best wing in the program. To be a forward on the varsity roster we have to evaluate you as the either the first, second, or third best forward in the program. Coaches make decisions about cuts base on what is best for the program. It two players are relatively equal in ability and one is 2 years younger than the other. Coaches choose the player who can benefit the program for longer. All while fitting into the culture of the basketball program. Competition will be fierce. There will be a large number of cuts this season.
