The “2-step”: making verbs work in sentences
1. Find the stem: Chop off the –er 2. Add the ending that goes with the subject: Je e Tu es Il/elle -e Nous ons Vous -ez Ils/elles -ent

Two verbs in one sentence
I like to sing. J’aime chanter. You don’t prefer to study. Tu ne préfères pas étudier. Do the 2-step with the first verb. The second verb does not do the 2-step! end of leçon 15
