1 Macedonian e-book Mirror

2 While out walking in the woods one day, a person lost a mirror.

3 A rabbit passed by. The rabbit saw the mirror, raised it from the ground and looked at his reflection. "Oh, that's me. This is my picture" he said!

4 Immediately down from a tree a squirrel appeared and took the mirror
Immediately down from a tree a squirrel appeared and took the mirror. After looking in it, she saw her face and told the rabbit: "This is my picture, it's not yours"! "How can you say such a thing" said the rabbit angrily, and looked back at the mirror again. "This is my picture"! And so their quarrel began.

5 Then a bird flew down. She asked them why they were quarreling
Then a bird flew down. She asked them why they were quarreling. The rabbit replied that they were quarreling because the squirrel said it was her image in the mirror not his, however he believed it was his image. "Let me see," said the bird, and looked at the mirror. "You are quarreling over nothing," said the bird, "It’s a picture of me"! And so everyone began to quarrel again.

6 A little bear came along and as the strongest of all of these animals she said that she would judge whose image it was on the mirror. She asked to see the mirror. She looked at herself in the mirror, saw her face and said: "What nonsense, you are quarreling over my picture"! Then the small bear took the mirror and left.

7 The little bear took the mirror and brought it home to her mother and other cubs.
They all looked at themselves in the mirror and confirmed that the picture was theirs because they all saw the head of a bear, and so the quarrel ended.
