1. Harju sub-river basin PRB WG B
The surface of the Harju sub-river basin (HSRB) is km² large, making it represent a little under 14% of the corresponding number for Estonia as a whole. By far the larger part of this territory (as much as 70%) falls within the borders of Harju county. The rest is split between western tips of Lääne-Viru county, a small number of municipalities in the north of Järva and Rapla counties as well as in the eastern sections of Lääne county. Administratively the area counts 7 (including the Estonian capital Tallinn) cities or towns and 29 rural municipalities. These towns together account for only 4% of the HSRB territory.

3. The Harju sub-district area has been selected as one of the pilot areas for which the funding was applied from ISPA in 2001.
A project has heen initiated to establish a river basin management plan for the Harju sub- district (project started in 2004 in nov).
Right now we are thinking with the project teem, what from the four main topics (scale of measures, uncertainty issue, effectiveness of measures or CEA in the planning process) is the best for Harju case.
So we should have for 16/01/2005 the detailed plan who is doing what and when.
